| Safety SubcommitteeThe safety subcommittee will consist of representatives of Mohawk manufacturing and Sharon Firestopper - Chief, Fictionville Fire Department , and Michael Safehome - Chief, Fictionville Police Department. This committee will ensure that a Mohawk safety plan is developed and on file with local police, fire, and emergency services. Mohawk will assist the local community in the continuation of the GPS Emergency mapping project and to assist in equipping each emergency vehicle with Emergency GPS Navigation. Manufacturing staff will help fulfill Mohawk's objective of functioning as an effective community safety partner. An additional function of the community safety subcommittee is to work with local energy producers to ensure they effectively estimate energy usage and have their own emergency plan. Along with energy, the safety committee will work with sanitation and water utilities to coordinate local services. This may include encouraging the formation of private businesses to handle increased demand. |
