This position requires a creative thinker who can manage our overall internal and external communications message. This position will liaison with the HR Leadership team, marketing, public relations, manufacturing, and sales. The successful candidate should have a broad understanding of the flooring market, who can assume responsibility of audio, video, print production and web-based media management. The candidate should have displayed a measure of success in website management, online marketing, and or video production. This position serves in the capacity as an internal consultant who can synthesize and distill complex information in key messages and translate this information into an understandable format for a variety of end users. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 8-years of professional experience including 3 or more years as a manager or supervisor. The Communications Manager works with various departments in helping them refine their message. This manager helps various departments utilize various communication media to reach their intended market and helps these departments synthesize their message to ensure clarity and broad understanding. Mohawk seeks an individual who can indentify targeted markets and adapt a targeted message for these markets. Publishing or authoring skills are a definite plus. The Mohawk Manager should have extensive experience with MS Office, Expression Web, Dream weaver or other HTML editing software. This candidate must possess sound analytical skills and have budgeting, accounting, or budget management experience.
