| Housing Sub CommitteeIn order to prepare for the housing demand stimulated by the Mohawk expansion (both temporary construction staff and long-term family needs), Mohawk will work with local builders, property managers, and real estate professionals through the local RealtorŪ Association. Mohawk staff will work with Selmore Property of the Fiction RealtorŪ Association to ensure the community has a realistic understanding of the demand that will created as a result of the Mohawk expansion. In estimating housing needs, this subgroup must work with the Fictionville Business Committee to estimate the total demand for housing from direct and indirect employment by Mohawk. Every community business will be impacted by the demand stimulated by the Mohawk expansion. Most Fictionville businesses will hire new staff and this staff will create demand for additional housing. |
