| Getting the Communications Plan organized. It has been said that long pointless meetings are useful in that they keep incompetent people from interfering with those who are working. However, the first step of the Mohawk Communications Plan is to have a meeting. Two Committees must be formed before any work is begun. An internal Mohawk Steering Committee and a Community Advisory Committee must be organized. The Mohawk Steering Committee will establish the Corporate message and the Community Advisory Committee will refine the message and employ local resources to achieve objectives within the plan. After the Communications Committees convene, each committee segment may opt to develop their own communications plan for each individual objective. The Advisory Committee will be assigned numerous key objectives and each of these objectives may require a significant body of work to accomplish each objective. |
